At the end of the day drugs are just a creative lubricant for some musicians. If drugs were solely responsible for creativity then everyone who took drugs would be reknowned

Yip - Oscar Wilde, Keats, Shelley - they all used drugs too. Musicians and poets, that's what they did/do.

yes it seems to be a genius of the artistic kind these days you have to have been born in the 19th century.
People don't seemt o be able to attribute the term with many of the 60s artistic crusaders simply because it was a time of open drug taking. For me, I would also add Hendrix to the list of geniuses
