Love this one;
"If you want to get together in any exclusive situation and have people love you, fine- but to hang all this desperate sociology on the idea of The Cloud-Guy who has The Big Book, who knows if you've been bad or good- and CARES about any of it- to hang it all on that, folks, is the chimpanzee part of the brain working. "
-Frank Zappa, American musician

Doesn't seem to bother her though does it, she never changed her name.
Could have been worse, she could have been called Britney, Kylie, Chantelle, Michela, Shelby or any of the other common names doomed for some poor innocent wee lassie.
He was a genius, think you'll find others similar name their children bizarre names.

exactly, opium was the drug of choice in those days.
At the end of the day drugs are just a creative lubricant for some musicians. If drugs were solely responsible for creativity then everyone who took drugs would be reknowned

Yip - Oscar Wilde, Keats, Shelley - they all used drugs too. Musicians and poets, that's what they did/do.

People don't seemt o be able to attribute the term with many of the 60s artistic crusaders simply because it was a time of open drug taking. For me, I would also add Hendrix to the list of geniuses

When did I say or think that?
