Ive been in Civil Service 27 yrs and mostly hated it ,I imagine you do get emotional once notice handed in. Realiity kicks in.
I reckon you have to be positive about the future though , put this aside and move forwards.

Hello Alex
LOL, well it sounds like a very unique form of food posioning
very specialist, but it can happen... sounds like you had a great time!
OH applied for ARTC back in January and he had it granted a couple of weeks ago, which was a huge weight off our minds. I think he bored them to death with all the info/proof he gave them.
What about your OH?

Yeah, we are going to Adelaide, will get Sparky Hub to pm you, when he gets in. He'll be able to explain things better.

Hi Dave, reality did kick in last week, but this week I'm feeling really positive.

Hi, We had the ARTC granted but for Electrical Fitter not Mechanic as expected. I have written to them to see if we can find out what evidence was missing. I thought we had written the electrical version of war and piece, with pictures as well, but there you go. I suppose for now OH will do the tests for the Fitter, whilst we reapply for Electrical Mechanic. I believe SA are much faster at recognising quals and experience, whereas WA like you to suffer.
Also, don't know if Wendy is around...

Thanks, just want to get there now, been planning it for 5 years and actively organising this since Sept 07.
Hope your house sells and you get to move soon

Adelaide is very nice, has a huge beach and usually warm, am sure you will love it.

I have just found out what's even worse!!! We put the motorbike and one of the cars on the Internet to sell, thinking it would take a couple of weeks. They are both going tonight. Arrrgh... one car between two, and OH is playing the "I can't believe my Motorbike has gone" Joker card.
Never mind only three weeks on Friday, can our marriage stand it

:curse:
I think I need to go back emptying the drinks cabinet, the problem is the only stuff left is the minging stuff that tasted great on holiday but now tastes like paint stripper
Anyone know how to use one of those bus things

Sounds good,
we've put our one car up for sale, and nothing, not a dicky birdy since last Saturday.
Not even had an enquiry and it's on Autotrader and EBay Classifieds.

Come on Wendy, you know even if you weren't on here at 2.30am, you wanted to be...
How's everything going job wise?

Glad I'm not the only one who got/gets emotional.

Hi there,
Just had the same, got artc through but for fitter not mechanical, what is the main difference? did you get any joy when you contacted them to find out what was missing? Hubby doesn't want to do tests for fitter then go through it all again, what's happening with you now?
Thanks
Jayne
