Comedy star Bernard Manning dies
Controversial comedian Bernard Manning has died aged 76 after being treated in hospital for a kidney condition.
He shot to fame in the 1970s on ITV programme The Comedians, having already developed a career in music as a vocalist and a compere.
His website branded him "one of the most outrageous and successful comedians of our time". He also denied being racist, once remarking: "I tell jokes. You never take a joke seriously." .........
BBC
Not my cup of tea but sad nontheless. RIP Bernard.

Legend.
Yorkshire couple go to Majorca for their first holiday abroad. Being typical Brits abroad, they don't trust the local food, and as it's a Sunday they start cooking a roast dinner. Unfortunately they've forgotten the gravy granules, so Maureen says to Geoffrey:
"I'm sure the couple next door are English, go and ask them if they've got some"
So off he goes, knocks on the door, and sure enough a bloke in Union Jack shorts opens the door:
Geoffrey asks politely: "Hast thou any Bisto??"
The bloke says: "**** off you Spanish tw*t"

Another classic that had me in stitches.
Like the time this female athlete came up to him in a bar and he got a strange whiff. "You fart in ma Whitbread?" he said.....No I'm Tessa Sanderson she replied!

what about the little boy who asked his Dad where babies come from. Thinking frantically, the Dad says "uh, a stork my darlin"
The boy replies - "who fcks a stork?"

Saw him on stage about 7weeks ago in Shaw, Oldham - he was helped onto the stage and conducted his act from a chair. He commanded the room still. Looked really ill then and vowed to die doing what he enjoyed the most. At the end he gave a speech about loving family, quite touching. Not my sense of humour at all and I didnt appreciate a lot of his jokes, but the family part hit the nail on the head for us.
RIP BM.
