Well... we saw them last night and it was a great gig. Really enjoyed it and the effects were excellent. The lightning storm in the distance before Coldplay came on was pretty good too!

We did manage to walk the wrong way when we left the stadium so we saw some interesting bits of Sydney but hey, we made it to the station in time for our train so that's all that matters

By all accounts he was acting a massive prick at the after-party last night: draping himself in d-list models, straight up ignoring people trying to talk to him, etc.

The show was reportedly excellent though.

Coldplay - admittedly not my thing musically. The stage show was big, but verging on gimmicky. The wristbands that lit up at certain points were clever, and looked good from above I should think, but......???? Came away from it non-plussed really. Not in a hurry to go and buy their music or see them again. Took 2 hours to get out the EQ car park as well...longer than the gig!

Radiohead - very clever show. The video screens almost added a "documentary" feel to it as they showed each band member at work so to speak. Their newer music is very challenging, but can be thrilling because of that. The older stuff from The Bends and OK Computer were the best received. Vocal mix was bit down though.

Pink Floyd - saw them at Earls Court in '94, and Roger Waters performing The Wall in London and Sydney. In both cases far ahead in matching visuals to the music. I saw Roger solo in Sydney in '07 as well which again was very well produced.

Next stop Roger Hodgson, then Rush for Clockwork Angels tour in the UK......and maybe Neil Young & Crazy Horse down here.

It's not the music that is the bane of my life (although it does occasionally cause my ears to bleed). I can't really go into detail because I have to deal with them/their management. Sufice to say they're not nearly as laid back and 'cool' as they let on and they make something that should be very simple, very difficult. The words 'we don't want to get sued' come up more often that I'd like in my average day.

Metallica on the other hand, nicest management you could meet, so amenable and always get back to me, go figure!

Her awful taste is not only restricted to music........Men are also high on the list.

I believe that she is at the point of slashing MINE.

Not wishing to start a catfight or nuffin, but she reckons this bloke was a complete Bellend
