I was just being nosey and reading your thread - I'm not childless nor going to Melbourne! However, I defend to the death any person's choice whether to have children or not. It is nothing to do with anyone else!!

Although, this thread also seems in danger of becoming a discussion forum for & against having children which it wasn't intended to be!
Many of my friends have children and whilst I love & wouldn't be without these friends (or their kids) it's great to have other friends who like us are child free. Being able to go on an evening out or a shopping trip on the spur of the moment is a wonderful thing
Hence this thread-just something to bring us 'child-free's' together

I've been off line over the weekend, laptop is out of commission until sometime this week. I see there have been quite a few replies.
I'm happy to say we are child free and loving it
We're heading for Melbourne hopefully in mid November, and are looking at settling in west Melbourne, but we'll have a better idea where when we get there and have had a good look around.
