CHANNELS 7 ETC & FOXTEL
We are getting Foxtel installed this week (ok I know it's a bit pants but the teenager is arriving from London so....)
I've read that it doesn't show channels 7, 9 , 10 etc. However I still want to be able to watch these as quite good stuff in the evenings (Lewis, Life on Mars etc).
Sorry this is a dim question-I guess all I'll need to do is turn the Foxtel box off to switch back to normal channels? I wont have to re-tune them back in each time?

I have no idea why I know all this information, other than I had Sky in the UK and couldn't understand how any channel in Oz would be stupid enough to NOT be on Sky (Foxtel)

10 is on satelite foxtell here on Central coast NSW but 7 is still to appear. Cable subscribers already have them. Not sure in other areas but sat should get 7 by next year.

Re: CHANNELS 7 ETC & FOXTEL
We are also on foxtel satelite and we do get channel 10, but we do not get channel 7.
Channel 10 only came on satellite within the last 6 months, before that we didn't get it either. As mentioned, at some point in the near future channel 7 will also be available as well.
So for now if we want to watch channel 7 we just have to press the input button on the tv remote to switch over to the antenna (and ch 7).

When we were in Adelaide we got 7 9 & 10 on Foxtel cable. Here in Perth we're on satellite and have to have a seperate arial for them. Guess it's just the east coast that has the free to air channels on satellite.
