Hi
Rocky is now running around with my dogs happily doing his thing (no botty action). They keep racing around then coming back to sit by me and having a snooze then they are off again ...oh and he has got his voice back :D reckon he must of been barking like crazy in the pound. Sam you are gonna be so happy with Rocky. He is so well behaved !! he has been a little head shy at times (maybe from being slapped , who knows ??) but he will get over that easy enough. He already would sit on command and he is getting the hang of lie down, stay and he comes back when you call him really well. He has certainly got over his initial fear/aggression thing although he is definitely a very independent/slightly dominant little fella so nuts off is defo a good idea (still havnt told him tho cos he has been such a good boy ;) ). |

Just had a thought ... If you and Abdul would like to and your not busy already, you are more than welcome to come and stay the weekend. You could get the train to clarkson and I could pick you both up from there ??

Bet ya!:D I really wish I wasnt so soft and could detatch myself emotionally to be able to help, but I know that it would end up like that Ceasar Milan bloke and have 20 odd dogs racing around but where he is in control they would all end up running rings round me :eek: |

It's a pity you live so far away otherwise I would have sent my dog to stay with you for a couple of weeks and you could have trained her. I am having problems doing it as she is tooooo cute and looks at me with big puppy dog eyes and i just melt - you can guess who runs this house! |

Believe me Vanessa Im just as bad :o The harshest I am when they do something naughty is a loud NOoooo and are ignored for a bit (and dont look at them:D )but I dont concentrate on the negatives only the positives and when they are all doing as they should they get loads of love and fuss and for little Rocky I always keep some treats in my pocket for when he has been extra good ... bribery is my secret ;)
As far as kids are concerned Hitchcock ... NO WAY :eek: Sam saw the good side and was lulled into a false sense of security. Im sure if she was here for a weekend she would get to see the devil horns sprouting :lol: |
