Crumpets and Pikelets are two different things - a crumpet has raised edge and a pikelet is completely flat.
Dale's family always call crumpets pikelets and it drives me mad

Well depending on where you live, they're either crumpets or pikelets!!!!! we (where I live), call them crumpets when they're sweet, my Nan called them drop scones!!!! but pikelets are thicker and holes on the top and normally had with savoury toppings!!!! (But Mothers Pride call them crumpets!)

ive no idea why the kids have targeted us but they started last night and im trying to ignore them
to me crumpets have wholes on the top where the cheese oozes through yummy
