The Brits 2008 - embarrassing??
#16
I gag when somebody introduces somebody else as "my very good friend". What they are saying is "ooooooooh, look at me, i've got friends, and they are famous". It's all that reflective glory bollocks.

I posted this in The Lounge last night. Thought it would have been worth watching just in case mucca turned up....

Did Ozzy get his kit off then???
Just watched the Brits. It was cringeworthy!!
Ozzy disappeared after a short while, leaving the job to the wife and kids.
Sharon held it together for a while, then totally reverted to form around the 3rd dress change, hogging the mike and making an idiot out of herself.
I thought Vic Reeves was going to chin her when she took the mike off him to announce one of the winners herself!
Amy Winehouse sang well but should be restricted to radio only. She dances to a different song to the one she is singing
The bloke from the foo fighters summed it up perfectly in his acceptance speech (from America)! I would really like to be there but I can't because I have just sold out Madison Square!!
Then there was Kylie, sang well but clinging on a bit with the skin tight dress I think.
And last, and least, Paul McCartney murdering his own songs with his now ropey voice. Rory Bremner had it about right when he said the Beatles were dying in the wrong order!!
Rant over, anyone else want to join in??

Only saw the end (thankfully). Sharon and Vic were well out of it, she made a right dick of herself. Thought Kelly did ok from what we saw. Amy Winehouse looked like she was dying to go to the loo
Very embarrasing stuff. I have to close my eyes when shes on, love her voice but cant look at her. Arctic Monkeys rock

No, i actually feel the same way. Everyone just presumes he was in the right and dismiss her as being a golddigger etc.... There is always 2 sides to a story !

Why do you hate Macca? he's never hurt a soul and does heaps for charities, has always kept his private life private and I admire that. I know quite abit about mucca from a 'previous life', but I won't go into it on here. What I will tell you is, this isn't the first time she's done this.

His pain in the arse brother is as bad, if not worse, having no talent of his own to begin with. He now calls himself an "artist". WTF??
As for hoppity, "boo hoo, i've done nothing but charity for 20 years". About time you got a bloody job then love and stopped bleating on and looking for handouts

Please tell me you are joking
she was embarrassing, like a cat stuck under a car wheel, she looked like she was about to have a shit on stage and then just die.Vic Reeves is a nob anyway and should have been stopped going on stage.
Kylie looked good but the only one who could sing a note was Leona Lewis.
