Britain gets raped. Again!!!

First thing, you are not a British.
Second thing, you need to look into history. Who told you British left functioning society and single country behind. Don't you know the "divide and rule" methodology of British rulers? Don't you know the aftermath of 1947 partition.

Who told me Britain left a functioning society and single country behind? Firstly I had long discussions with a former Indian Army Colonel; secondly I read a lot of history books about it.
What happened in 1947 happened after we left. As soon as the British walked out the people of the Indian subcontinent resumed their age old practice of killing each other.
Sadly resuming the fighting isn’t the only thing they restarted. In 1987 Roop Kanwar, an 18-year-old widow suffered suttee. The British had stamped it out after 1829.

150 years? You might need to read up your history of India mate. The East India Company established its first permanent factory in Bengal in 1612.
I could fill this site, with a list 1000 pages long of what the British did for India, but it always ends up like a Monty Python sketch. If you want some examples though, I am happy to provide them.
It was a mutually beneficial arrangement, and Britain got a lot out of it too. But what Britain got out of it ended in 1947. We left a functioning society and single country behind, which was far different to what we had found.
When I was in Bombay in 1982 the water pipes were the same ones the British had laid over a hundred years before. I know this because there were water shortages in Bombay - the British had not shown the foresight to estimate the future size of Bombay and had only provided them with 14 inch water mains.

Well You guys gave this also:
Riots did break out and the most infamous was at Amritsar in the Punjab where 379 unarmed protesters were shot dead by British soldiers based there. 1200 were injured. This incident shocked many in India but what caused equal outrage was the British reaction to Amritsar – the officer commanding British troops at Amritsar, General Dyer, was simply allowed to resign his commission after an inquiry criticised his leadership during the riot. Many national Indians felt that he, and others in the army, had got away very lightly. The more radical Indians felt that the British government had all but sanctioned murder.

I’m English mate. I still hold British citizenship, and a British passport. You can’t take England out of me. My family have been around Britian for an awful long time.

To be honest mate, I think both Britain and India profited out of what I see as a marriage of convenience. India came out of it with a complete running and functioning country and continues to use the infrastructure provided by Britain.
Any benefit to Britain ended in 1947, and then we suffered mass migration from India of people that most British didn’t want, and yet we accepted them.

This is off the topic, which was the head of Tata saying that British management was not up to standard.
