Default Bins cleaned?

if you wouldn't mind giving me some feedback on a business venture I would appreciate it greatly. Just wondering how many people would consider having their wheelie bins, or commercial work bins cleaned and sanitised, for a reasonable fee, on a regular basis? Your answers would help me build a picture and assist in a decision I need to make!

Thanks
Spainy

I use a company here in Perth who are very good and seem to have plenty of customers on my street. I get it done once a month and it costs me $60 for the year for 1 bin. Keeps me maggot and stink free in the summer time. Good luck with your venture.

Once a month is enough for us.

Some of the many bin cleaning companies have something like the following:
Cleaning operators have their own onboard water supply with recycling and filtration systems; conform to EPA and Water Board requirements; and, very importantly, use on average less than half of one litre of recycled water per bin.
It would be worth checking on requirements for water use limitiations, in some areas.

A bin cleaning franchise, if you went in that direction, could cost about $35,000

Some annual prices I have seen are:
$100 for a monthly clean (12 times a year)
$ 65 for a quarterly clean ( 4 times a year)

If the bin doesn't get dirty in the first place, it won't need cleaning.

flies can get in and lay eggs on the rubbish and then you end up with maggots. I get flies around my bin every summer. Having it cleaned regularly keeps it nice and clean and maggot free!

We've never had to clean any bin and you could eat your breakfast out of it - no flies.

My next door neighbour uses a big black bag each week in his bin, and it stays clean. The bin, not the bag
