Default beware of 3 year olds

They have very hard heads. When the doctors told me I shouldn't be working with small children (due to them being bags of germs), I said I was immune to most of their germs after nearly 30 years.

I did not expect them to knock me out.

3 year old boy wants to get on a swing and asks for help. As I bend to pick him up, he tries to jump up, cracking me on the jaw and causing me to bite my tongue and pass out. When I sit up groggily and tasting blood, there are kids round me- two have firemen's helmets on and a ladder- they've come to help!! (Quite sweet and funny really). Anyhow- I'm off work now with headache and sore hip where I fell, and got to do things through worker's comp. Eating youghurt as it is sore to chew, and eyeing up the packet of chocolate that arrived from the uk today.

(Yes, I did see the doctor. Again.)

Its BMI has increased considerably, hence the yoghurt instead of the crusty baguette, and a slight tendency to drool.

Oh bless the kids in the firemans hats

I've just had to write an essay on The Role of an Education Assistant & had to include a bit about issues that may arise. Wish I'd seen this prior to finishing my essay as I could have used it & quoted you

Hope your tongue calms down enough for you to be able to eat your chocolate soon. may be you could suck it?

OMG, that is so painful! My son did the same thing at Kindergym the other week but got me right on my cheekbone. I sat and cried - very embarrassing in front of other parents - luckily my friend was there so she sympathised......

Keep sucking that chocolate!
