they have dodgy copyright policy though...also quite a pain in the butt if someone knicks your photo's for their use etc.

I think if you use their US site, they will then ship internationally.

I'm really not sure how you can protect your pics on any of these sites as they're all downloadable, unless you're going to watermark your pics.

Aye, but some sites are better at taking down bent works than others....Flickr is good, but if someone has copied your stuff, there a mare to do anything about it.

I use Picassa web albums!

Find it fantastic.......can upload photos direct from my picassa image viewing softwarte (windows version of iPhoto apparently).....

Have a look at this and see how easy it is! I personally found Flickr to be too in-depth and commercialised!

I have tried pretty much all of the free ones out there! OK, this doesnt have all the bells and whistles, but lets be honest...who needs em anyway?

Its quite new from Google Labs and they are adding new features all the time! Storage quota is pretty amazing too (as youd expect from Google anyway!)

Make sure you download Picassa itslef....bloody good bit of software and allows you to upload from within directly at the click of a mouse!

I've just installed Picasa and I must admit that I'm very impressed so far! I've not uploaded any to the web yet but I will soon.

Thanks for the tip!

I too use Picassa2 and now the web albums, its great and free! You can make the album public or invites only. Once you download Picassa it automatically copies all your images on your pc into the folder and runs in addition to your 'my pictures' folder. Also v easy to upload pics for printing, great for altering images, fixing red eye, coverting to black and white. You can tell I am a big fan!
