Shops are full of really disgusting clothes too, lime green jeans, lollypink tops, and that awful combo of orange and turquoise. Add some crocodile scale skin, with hot orange or pink lippy and you wonder if Dame Edna really did retire
Agree
Bright colour clashes seem to be really popular at the moment.
Mind you, if I was 21 again, I might even like it.

I don't think you should think this normal, even for the Gold Coast!

I liked 8 I think it was. These aren't as bad as last years?

Personally I think fashion has taken a turn for the worst this last decade.

It's like people have run out of ideas. The 90s seem positively tame now - the tamest decade in many ways since casual dress was invented.

Some say it doesnt or shouldnt matter what you wear, I believe it is nice to make some sort of effort with clothes - especially for work.

However, whilst I would not wear any of the stuff shown - I guess it is fashion and they have thought about what they are wearing and have made an effort.

They may be equally as shocked/horrified at the stuff we wear.

If only they could see my fashionable bag lady look!

Ancient raspberry pink fleece which is totally shapeless and has a broken zip and dangly toggles, bootcut jeans which are a bit too long, and slip on tan leather mules that have split at the front and have no lining left and holes in the bottom. (I don't go out in them unless I have a senior moment.) Sometimes teamed with a faded floppy raspberry straw sunhat when gardening.

I do make an effort and sometimes wear pearl studs in my ears though.
