Re: Australian TV question
My guess is that the sync is out on the dubbing in the program that is being transmitted. I've noticed it, especially on some dvds too.

Re: Australian TV question
Dubbing was so far out I thought it was a German one dubbed over

Re: Australian TV question
Nah, no particular program really but i only tend to watch a bit of news cos everything else is shite.
i don't have foxtel so i suppose its either digital or terrestrial.
Just wondered if anyone else had noticed.

Re: Australian TV question
I think the sound and picture leave the station together but some of the less expensive digital equipment loses the synch. I had all those problems with my first combined DVD set top box, it was very cheap; later I bought a rather more expensive DVD with hard disk recorder and all the problems were solved.
I've read that in UK there is a problem with digital radio, in every tuner there is a processing delay, this makes the time pips (Greenwich time signal), late by half a second or so; not that it would worry me now, being retired to within half an hour or even a day is close enough.
