Another rip off is the companies such as Reconnect who handle residential rental payments. They charge a fee to use and hold onto our rental money for a few days before passing it to the letting agents. :thumbdown: Whatever happened to the good old reliable and free direct debit instruction? The letting agents are also part to the rip-off for refusing to accept any other form of payment. :thumbdown:

The compulsory "third party" insurance that we have to pay with the rego. In the ACT we get to choose from one provider (NRMA) and pay $578. :thumbdown: If we want to insure the car at all then we have to seek out another provider and pay another premium. :thumbdown:
