Default Aussie Birds in Backyards....

For those of you who have wildlife in your back garden and who are interested, there's a great site called 'Birds in Backyards' who need your contribution.

http://www.birdsinbackyards.net/surveys/ is where you can register and join in to tell them what birds you have in your garden and help build an accurate record of what birds are where in Aus and how they're surviving.

Kids might like to help join in with this too, so perhaps you might like to get them to spot a few birds from your garden and contribute.

Anyway, all yours.

we had a new visitor this morning
just looked him on that site, reckon it was a king parrot

i love watching them in our garden, we've got a family of kookaburras in the gums out front, the rainbow lorikeets enjoy some of the bush flowers, galahs ponder about on the grass, brilliant

We have king parrots, rosella's, galla's, magpies (of course), the koel, and kookaburra's....

So join on in and get them recorded there on the survey and help these folks out. It's a great site.
