Could be universal but Ive heard it a lot here: "Pissed as a mute" Funny as that sounds, Im sure if all pissed people made as much noise as mutes, Saturday nights would be a lot more tranquil.

My name is Jonny shortened from Jonathan but a lot of aussie guys, workmates, footy mates etc shorten/change it to Jonno, I hate it, I dont mind Jon, but not Jonno !!
