Default ASOS

I've never heard of them before but apparently they are big in the UK. Looks like Australia is their 2nd biggest market and they are starting a dedicated Australian website:

Judging by the clothes shown in that article, I'll give it a miss thanks.

I think they specialise in Pirate clothing looking at all the stripes. Or France maybe but there were no onions or bicycles in the pics.

Asos is great, cheap and has masses of groovy clothes. I expect I'll just order from the UK site though as the Oz one is bound to be 'under maintenance' half the time.

I never clocked that the first time I looked at the link. I guess it's good for anyone who wants to look like a gnome.

I've never heard of them either here, or back in the UK. But, if it means I can get some decent short sleeved shirts for less than $125 a go, then I may give them a try...

You know a country is starved of good shopping when an ASOS website is big news.

Oh and there are queues outside the Sydney Zara - and security guards

So many shops with security guards in the new fancy Pitt St Mall, but at least most of them sell expensive stuff. (Not that I go in - not much of a label queen but also don't want to shop anywhere I have to be allowed in.)

Hmmm. Asos don't look too bad. 27 quid for branded, designer shirts, and plenty of short sleeved ones too. Sort of like TK Maxx, but without the feel of being in a jumble sale.

I may order something, though I can't let my GF catch me buying more shoes - she already thinks I'm batting for the other team...

M&S. I bought a load recently. Most of them were GBP12.
