Default Asia air X

Big advertising campaign from this lot this week. They are the company that is supposed to be doing the 1200 dollar return flights to Stanstead airport.

Anyone know anything about the KL to Lon leg of this mythical cheap flight, that they have been tantalizing us with for the last 2 years.

My first reservation would be that its Stansted - notoriously bad for connections into London and to the rest of the country, esp early morning/late nights.
I'd be looking at the cost of getting from STN to wherever, before shelling out for a "cheap" flight........

There was an article about it in the Herald Sun last week. On top of the fare, you have to pay extra for meals, entertainment etc.

Still thats not too bad.

Stanstead is fine for me, I've got family in Plague proportions in Mkeynes.

Have a sleep over in KL, and hire a car from 1car1, would be my suggestion for UK travel issues.

Bloody good company 1car1 Cost me 440 quid for months hire back in June.

Yea - it'd be fine for us too. Never really used the in-seat entertainment anyway. With laptops, DVD players, iPods, consoles and books - they're a bit redundant. Got family/friends in Hertfordshire so Stanstead's not an issue either.

Hmmm good read, and seems like a great deal.

Personally I wouldn't miss the food or entertainment; take a flask, and ladyboy cabaret's never been my cup of tea.
