Join the Animals Asia Foundation - they work to raise awareness of cat and dog farming in China and protest to government bodies to change legislation. Don't buy fur products full stop.

I have never bought fur products, and also refuse to buy crocodile or snakeskin, even when obviously fake. (I also think it looks ugly) I don't even wear leopardskin/animal prints . Why do you want to look like you have a dead animal draped on your body?
I do have leather shoes- I'm not a vegan, though if I stopped to think about it I'd probably shudder at the thought of boiled silkworms to get the lovely fabric or animals skinned to get leather. I'd wear wool if it didn't itch so much, (eczema sufferer who has to wear natural products) but shoes that are not leather cause my feet to sweat and are never comfortable on the old bunions as they don't stretch.

Trouble is, most people don't stop to think about it.
