hi guys we have just got our first rental in perth and need all the furniture to go in it, what do all the expats do with their stuff when they move back to uk? do they have house sales or anything?
dont want to buy all brand new stuff so second hand or just cheap new stuff would do....any ideas

Try the local garage sales, you can often pick up some excellent bargains.

Some are actually advertised, in the local free papers, as moving sales, when people move interstate or overseas.

Try posting this query on the Moving Back to the UK forum in case there's anyone about to leave Perth. Also have a look in the Classifieds (blue toolbar at top of page). There may be useful stuff there. Don't forget the drive around the area early Saturday and Sunday - garage sales are great places to get bargains.
