hello !

and more hoping to go to adelaide soon(ish)
we've only just started with the whole process and are about to gather everything for OH's TRA (he's electrical/mechanical engineer - so we'll have to decide what to apply for )

please send some of your sun!!! it's freeeeeeezing here!!!

It's freezing here, too. Flannel sheets on the bed and windows closed last night. It's autumn here, so only getting colder.

The bloody air con was on at work today and I nearly froze my hands off! I used to laugh about Aussies wearing gloves and scarves, but I've become one of 'THEM'. A couple of weeks ago we opened a box not yet opened and found my leather jacket and the kids' jackets from last winter. Thought we gave them to the Sally Ann, but glad we found them

It sounds warm but we have had the hottest summer in yonks here in SA so only 20 is cold. Bear in mind also there is no insulation in the houses here so in winter it's colder inside the house than outside. Summer (unless aircon is on) it's hotter inside than out. Especially if you have a 2 storey house. Upper floor is unbearable when it's 42+

Yup, we've got one in our new house also so in 6 weeks we'll have great heat too - no pool though but we might rectify that ourselves.
