Off to QSAC tonight. Sadly worked out thats it been a long time since I last saw them play Donnigton in 1984. We is all older now.
Don't even have an black t-shirts from various monster of rock (84-88) as the wife through them out during the 'you need to grow up and stop wearing black band t-shirts' phase.

1st saw them on the Back in Black tour and seen on every tour since.....last one was Stiff upper Lip in Manchester......
Best R n R show you'll ever see, make the Stones look like a pub band..

Perth, Sat 6th, OMG, can't wait. Been looking forward to this ever since they announced the world tour (must be 18 months ago now).
Had such a fight in the office when the tickets went on sale, everyone on their computers & phones all at the same time trying to book (including the boss
), managed to spill my coffee all across my keyboard in the excitement & panicked - hubby had threatened failure would result in divorce proceedings

I have just been given 2 tix for tomorrow night by a customer who had them spare
Anyone else going tomorrow? The tix say Arena 3 but no seat number does that mean its standing only?
PM me if anyone fancies a few drinks before.

Its not my syrup i'm worried about as much as the location of the toilets - jumping up and down sometimes makes me a bit unstable if you know what I mean
maybe a spare pair of underwear would be in order. Also do you think they will have an over 50's enclosure for us aged patrons (although I'm still a lot younger than all of the band)

Just to let all you guys know, who are going on Saturday...you are in for one hell of a night....
They were as usual absolutely awesome, the stage set up is great and the setlist will not disapoint.
I will add also that the facilities and the transport to and from the stadium were amazing...really i know its hard to believe but they really were....
I left home here in Shailer Park at 5:30, drove to Eight Mile Plains, parked up immediately and was on a bus at 5:55. Straight to the venue and was in my seat by 6:30.
Same can be said about the journey home, the band finished around 10:30 and i was home with a coffee at 11:15.
After we had a shocking experience using public transport for Riverfire i was dubious about last night but i must congratulate whoever is responsible for the organisation of this event.

One word.....AWESOME

As i have just posted in a seperate thread, the whole experience was great.
Usually you have some hassle attending a huge event like this, but i can honestly say that its the best organised open air gig i've ever been to...
The setlist is awesome and a great tribute to Bon during High Voltage....
Just a bit of advise....i would try and get the bus from 8 mile plains, they seem to be the fastest moving after the gig....
Great selection of merchandise...T-Shirts = $50 about 6/7 different designs
Programme = $25
Have a great night..........

Arena 1,2,3 are standing.. for 3.5 hours
My poor back.
Sleeman center was pretty good for bus too. More buses than people.
Still wondering if long hair is banned in QLD as I didn't see any of the classic UK headbanger look, just oz biker goatie look. Strange mix of people, oldies , bikies, and generally mass who will go to any band who will come to qld. Guy in front on me was dancing as if he was at abba.
Great concert, expect you could hear it 15 kms away, and great to be close up. 26 years since I last saw them, and we've all aged, but angus was still giving it plenty.
