Beer is lovely, not frozen to within an inch of its life
Cider is widely avaklable and affordable
Being able to drink on a train without a spotter sussing out Security is great
Being able to sit on a train during the rush hour and not get crushed by people dripping sweat cos its 28 degrees outside
Friendly station staff
Friendly airport staff
Friendly bar staff
BOGOF in Tescos
Being able to wear a fleece and a scarf and hope for snow
Central heating
Carrier bags that hold more than a carton of orange juice & a bag of crisps
The amazed and delighted look on a girl's face in a pub when offered a bag of Twisties!!!

You are clearly making all that up, we all know that everyone in the UK is miserable all the time, what are the chances of you finding friendly staff in all those places? Were they Aussies? :-)

If you ask my wife what is the coldest she has ever been i know for a fact that it was on a bike ride between Geelong and Ballarat, i quite literally couldnt open my fingers and had to slide them off the ends of the handlebars
