Most those folk refered to are of the backpacker variety. Nothing wrong with that but don't expect they'll be cheap labour and give a darn.

I believe it's a 2pm kick off at the Pig & Whistle also visiting a few other select venues in the quest for solving the problems with the Irish economy;)

The cost of a round in some of those places would go a long way towards solving the problems with the Irish economy:ohmy:

Here, here. So pee'd off that we've worked like mad and saved to now be punished by low interest rates, job worries, etc. Not fair.

We already run a business here in the UK and used to have a good bit of interest on our company profits; those days long-gone. Good idea, but can't bring ourselves to borrow, so just have to accept our lot. Ah well, wouldn't want to be rich anyhow - just as well really!!!!

I know interest rates rob savers in the UK. Experience the same with the Euro. Make up for it a little in Australia with some 5.8%.. but even that has declined a little.

I know, I remember when we had interest rates like that (gazes wistfully into distance!). Glad for folk in Oz though - it all helps to combat cost of living I guess. We'll manage, but it's the pensioners and people coming up for pensions that I feel for.
