Did you hear about the new facility Kraft Foods are building in Israel?
It’s called "Cheeses of Nazareth".

I'd rather pay 6p for a 102% pork sausage.

Back on topic:o
In the U.K
Pork Sausages by law have to contain at least 65% meat of which a minimum of 80% of the meat must be pork.
Beef Sausage must contain at least 50% meat of which a minimum of 50% of the meat used must be beef.
That was the minimum when I left the U.K, maybe even the sausages have gone to the dogs..................................or should do:eek:

Re: The 2p sausage

My wife and I watched this story on the Beeb last night, with considerable disgust

34% pork (most of which will be recovered meat, not proper cuts), 34% water, 18% rusk, 6% pork fat.

We thought the chef's comment was fantastic: "It's not something you eat... it's something that rents out your mouth for a bit".
