1 - I have 2 hyphenated names :blink: (my first and surname)

2 - I went to watch a live show in Las Vegas with him who presented catchphrase (young guy)

3 - My daughter was born on the lounge floor (as planned)

4 - I used to play for Manchester City girls team when at school

5 - I've met the real santa in Lapland twice

6 - I once died :ohmy: (was brought back to life Obviously)

7 - I'm just about to finish uni next week :thumbsup:

8 - I have never ever been arrested (some feat if you knew my family:rofl: )

9 - I'm scarey and demand Excellent Service (see 10)

10 - I sacked a builder yesterday as the work his men did in 2 days was a complete Joke! On the phone he demanded to be paid and said he was coming for his money! He came, left embarrassed and apologising and said he didn't want any money AND we could keep the unused materials:thumbsup:

OK Here Goes :

1. My OH is an Aussie

2. I 'met' the queen once. I was walking up her driveway at Windsor castle the Sunday after the Queen mum died and all the press were waiting for her to come back from church. SO I stood by the gate and she rolled right by me in the Jag and looked me right in the eye and gave me a personal wave (not the dismissive public wave to her subjects.)

3. I fell off a Vespa in a car park and broke my collar bone.

4. I met Ian Botham on South Perth pier during world cup 2002

5. I went to a free trial diving course and scuba dived in the shallow end of a pool.

6. I got married in Kings Park, Perth.
6a. I got stuck in Montreal, Canada for a week after 9/11. I was supposed to fly back to London that day. So I bought my wife an engagement ring on a whim whilst stuck there. We were going to Tuscany in a few weeks so my big plan was to carry her up the 749 steps of the Grande Tourre in San Gimignano and get down on one knee . After flying back to London and walking around with the ring in my shoe for a week cuz I was scared to lose it, I finally broke down under all the pressure and poked my head in our room one night and chucked the ring on the bed and said " So, you wanna get married, or what ?"
I still regret not doing it properly.

7. Once, a car ran over my foor when I was crossing the road. I was amazed when there was absolutely no pain or damage.

8. I love the beach and I love sand. Whenever I'm at Cottesloe beach I always make sure there are 10 people between me and any incoming sharks

9. I am a bit of an adrenaline junkie too. I have done 2 parachute jumps and a few white water rafting trips.

10. I cycle (bicycle) to work in central Surrey along the Thames every day, even in the winter.

OK, here goes, Interesting hmm, you decide!

1. My Mother is Scottish & my Father Greek Cypriot, yet I was born in Hackney, London.

2. I was once caught by Police on the train tracks throwing stones at trains when I was a kid - where I now work as a Train Driver!

3. My dad was the very first patient in Milton Keynes General Hospital, he was having an Op for varicose veins.

4. I have seen some gory stuff in my job but can't take the sight of my own blood, I once passed out & had to be revived by an Ambulance crew when I put my tooth through my lip. Also nearly passed out while a nurse took my blood for a blood test one day :o

5. I appeared on telly with Robbie Coltrane & Lenny Henry in the TV Drama 'Alive & Kicking' in 1991.

6. I once saved a pregnant ladies life on a stormy sea crossing in greece, the ship lurched hard to one side & she tipped over the rail but I managed to grab her dungerees as she went over!

7. I have a condition called Exotropia Strabismus which makes me very shy & fearful of crowded places :o

8. I once drove the Queen from London to Birmingham ;)

9. In two weeks time I will be going up in a hot air balloon & I am crapping myself :rofl:

10*. I once broke the 100m sprint record as a result of a dodgy meal the previous night whilst holidaying in greece, this was from my pedalo to the lavs at the other end of the beach! I was really crapping myself!! :eek:

* If the chap from the guiness book of records had been there, I would now be in the possesion of a gold medal! :(

Ok, not as interesting as you lot, but I gave it my best shot!

1. my mum never knew she was having me till she went into labour

2. From a very young age, I attempted to run away from home and wanted to live somewhere like they did on 'Little House on the Prairie'

3. I have never known who my father is

4. I am the luckiest person in the world to have overcome a terrible incident and found true love

5. I went to drama college when I was younger with the daughter of Barry Heines (author of Kes) and appeared in the film 'Threads' as an extra.

6. I am in the middle of writing my first book

7. My hubby nearly died when i had a breast reduction a few years ago. His words 'I was robbed!'

8. I find it hard to make friends and to trust people

9. I once slept with an actor from Coronation Street!

10. I am an avid reader and have been since the age 6. I recently bought 9 books whilst in the UK and managed to read 3 of them whilst on the holiday and flight back.

I wish I had some REALLY interesting things to share but here are my 10 things about myself:

1. I have two middle names, one of which is a very old biblical name that my parents spelt oddly, and never use them. Even my passport doesn't have them.

2. Both my parents had died by the time I was 30, from the same thing (cancer of the oesophagus)

3. I have two brothers and two sisters, and we all have different parents. I'm the only one who has either the same dad as them, or the same mother (brothers - dad, different mums; sisters - mother, different dads).

4. I've met lots of celebrities through my previous line of work (PR), my favourite was Bill Oddie because he was happy to rummage through my rubbish as part of a photo shoot for composting.

5. I've met the Queen - she opened the new offices of the organisation I used to work for in London. I think I scared her with my gurning (I was trying to smile, but I was quite nervous).

6. I've met Esther Rantzan and suggested a cow be named after her (at the launch of the Cow Parade - those painted cows that appear on the streets for charity - there was a competiton to name one of the cows. Esther asked me what name I'd thought of... I couldn't think of anything, but as she walked away I was struck by a brainwave and yelled after her: 'It should be called Esther!'. She never spoke to me again.)

7. I've had work published, but usually not in my name. I've appeared on TV, radio and in the press, but usually as a 'spokesperson'.

8. I met my OH in a cheesy club in London. He was there for a friend's birthday, I was there for my friend's birthday. Another couple also met that night, and are also still together, six years later (but I only found this out last night).

9. I'm extremely short sighted (so much so that in the UK I could get financial assistance towards my glasses etc), but wear contact lenses so most people don't know how short sighted I am.

10. I watched a boxing match where Frank Bruno knocked the other bloke out in the first round - except I missed the knockout punch because my friend offered me some dry roasted peanuts at the crucial moment. I also missed Chelsea holding aloft the FA Cup in 1997 as I was off in the toilet being sick, as all the tension finally got to me :o

1. I met and shook the hand of President Clinton

2. I did a 15,000ft skydive the same day as a mountain top bungee jump in NZ

3. Been kissed (on the lips) by Kylie Minouge :wub: and served her sister Dannii a drink in a bar then invited to chat at her table! (different occassions both in the UK)

4. Left the UK to travel the world escaping a badly ended relationship with an aim to find an Aussie girl - I found a Canadian in Australia instead and am now soon to be married and we're looking at moving to Oz :)

5. Was hit and thrown about 10ft in the air by a car while at school...but got up and limped home because I didn't want any fuss or ambulances in case my mum got to hear about it and thought I was being careless....lol

6. Went on a night dive with Sharks and was scared sh*tless :unsure:

7. Held on to the bottom lip of a giant wrasse fish and was playfully dragged around the ocean for about 5+ minutes :)

8. Been moose hunting up in the Northern Albertan bush (population control NOT sport hunting)

9. Was on the show Brookside when I was a school kid (cheesy I know!)

10. Visited the world trade center Sept 10th, 2001!!!

1. Neil Armstrong is a relation on my dads side

2. I have Obsessive Compulsive disorder when it comes to cleaning the fridge, cooker/cooktop and toilets, i am paranoid about germs :o

3. i used to be a professional dancer (no, not that type!!)

4. Sheena Easton babysat me twice when i was a bub

5. ive met and sat on the knee of Errol Brown (Hot chocolate)

6. i used to read the AA Roadwatch travel updates on the radio

7. My voice used to be the one you would hear if you called the Halifax telephone banking service (not any more, they removed it after i left :mad: )

8. im scared of the dark :o

9. i used to have a massive crush on Vic Reeves, so much so i bluffed my way backstage after one of his Big night out concerts in 1991 to meet him ;) , got knows what i was thinking!!!!

10. my hubby is the most wonderful person i know :o
