Brisben,
Yes, but did so not as a consequence of reading your post.
Anyway,
I'm over it.
Cheers.

I'm not - I now realise that I'm a total bore
:
1. I have no famous relatives
2. I've never swum competitively (OH swam for Dorset - does that count!)
3. I'm right-handed, not colour blind and don't have medical problems
4. I have travelled to a few places - Dad was a lowly private in the army
5. Did take a 4 year old and 2 year old on a round the world trip
6. Haven't bumped into many famous people - unless spotting Billy Connelly at a petrol station counts?
7. Have retired at 40!
8. Was always last to be picked for any sports team
9. Am surprisingly happy despite being boring!
10. Did once try and stay on a Bucking Bronco in a dress with no knickers on
WAKE UP!

OK. It's taken me 2 days to think of 10 things, not that interesting either.
1. I'm an Australian (but then so are half the people on this site)
2. Because of the time difference between the UK & Aus, I claim two birthdays every year (guess I'll only have one when I go back)
3. Although I have always worked in IT, I have a licence to drive all types of busses (Will lose that when I claim a NSW licence)
4. I was Medway Junior Lifeguard Champion in 1982, silver medallist in Kent finals
5. I was head boy at school
6. Every school or office I have worked in has since closed
7. Was on TV once, waving at the camera behind John Craven
8. Have stripped off on a nudist beach, despite being Homer Simpson's body double
9. My youngest daughter is deaf
10. I was 25 before I flew on a plane....to Australia (Came to UK by boat)

well here's my offering
1. i went to oz as a £10 pom in the 60s but went first class, i learnt to swim on the boat over there, and my sister learnt to walk on the boat - however she couldn't walk when we landed as she was used to the swaying of the boat.
2. when we came back for a holiday - my mum sold the return plane tickets and had enough money to put the deposit on a house (good job its not that much now
)
3. due to a back problem as a child i was told i would never be able to carry a baby pass 20 weeks as my back would not cope. i've had 3 kids 2 of which were a week overdue and all of them weighed over 8lbs.
4. i used to drink with Simon Le Bon and John Taylor from Duran Duran
5. my father regularly discovers new species of flies and has recently had one named after him.
6. my aristocratic ancestors on my maternal side where kicked out of france.
7. my son and daughter are the first people in my family to have brown eyes since at least my great great great grandparents.
8. i spoke and stood next to Diana when she visited Alton Towers when the princes were litttle. Diana died on my son's 5th birthday and was buried on my niece's birthday.
9. I have a driving licence for a double decker bus and i am learning belly dancing with another BE member who i met through his forum.
10. the night i met my husband i told my best friend as we were getting ready that i was going to meet my future OH that night. we had a great night and met some great people but went home alone - however we kept bumping into a bloke we started talking to that night and eventually on his birthday (valentines day) he asked me out - the rest as they say is history.

1 Me and the missus share the same birthday.
2 Our son was born on our first wedding anniversary.
3 I married the same woman twice, the second time on the anniversary of our first wedding and our sons 16th birthday.
4 I am a published author.
5 I featured in a half hour documentary with Esther Rantzen with a couple I used to work with who had learning disabilities and were parents.
6 I was a movie critic for the day for the film I am Sam in the Guardian.
7 I have contributed to most major newspaper articles on the problems faced by parents with learning disabilities.
8 I had a trial at Southampton when I was 14 and was told I was too little and too slow to make the grade.
9 I moved to Australia 30 months ago and have been blessed with good luck.
10 I have a 13 inch cock.

Ok - here are mine.
1. Frank Skinner was my A level theatre studies teacher.
2. I have moved house approx 30 times.
3. I have 'double jointed' knuckles and can move them from side to side. This makes most people feel a bit queasy
4.My grandmother Frances O'Connor met and married my grandfather who was also called Francis O'Connor.
5. I also have a Madonna style gap in my teeth which I love. I can shoot water out of it which impressed my childhood friends but for some reason does not impress my adult friends
6.I saved someone from choking by using the heimlich manouever.
7. We were all set to go on tv's 'It's me or the dog' but my OH pulled out at the last minute
8. I own the maddest dog in Britain (see no.7)
9. Despite being 35 I was asked for i.d in Asda last week to buy a bottle of wine
10.I was flashed at three times on three seperate occasions when I lived in London
