If I was a woman looking for easy money then the work place is the place to find it. Personally, Ive found the blokey culture of the blue collar workplace provides plenty of ammo for a woman on the warpath.

Ive met plenty of women who are up for a laugh at work but there is a line and it seems there are also a lot of blokes who cross it. Tough titties.........wait, that was just a joke...................dont sue me.

Going through the criminal court's is a long and drawn out process with little hope of a conviction.

Let's not forget she is a publicist she is capable of creating good and bad publicity. If I was a publicist and felt wrongly done by I would imagine the bad publicity she is creating for DJ would be a little comforting. I doubt she will get anywhere near 37mil but I bet DJ's are shitting brick's at the thought of having to pay anywhere near that figure.

It kills me to agree with Dean but in this respect, imo he's right, also with his comments about the police. Whilst she has a case, as, I hope, do the other women who have come out of the woodwork, they should have involved the police.

Involving the police rarely leads to a conviction especially when it's one person's word against another. It all comes down to whoever the 12 members of the Jury belive, it is very stressful for the victim and after taking 2 years to get there a judge could just hand out a few hrs community service. Hardly a great punishment for someone who is a multi millionaire

That's true, however, a perceived outcome should never stop someone from reporting criminal activity to the police at the outset. It would also, I would hope, have some positive bearing on the case, whoever ultimately deals with it. Had she informed the police at the outset, and then informed the bra fiddler that she'd reported him to the police, she could possibly have stopped him from trying it on again with anyone. Just a suggestion.

EXACTLY.....this was a case waiting to happen

Whether on purpose, ensnarement, or accident, one thing's for sure, other companies will be watching this. It will create case law, subsequently companies will instill watertight policies to make sure it doesn't happen to them, and it will result in a better working environment.

All round and a greater awareness of those who do it, and need stopping.

This is not just one woman against her boss. Given that the response from someone in David Jones' HR was apparently "Not surprised, he's done this before. Next time just be clear with him and say 'no mark' ", David Jones as a company should be punished for condoning unacceptable behavior.

On the subject of Kristy Fraser-Kirk being a gold digger, from the statement of claim: "Punitive damages against the first and second respondents to be paid to a charity assisting persons in the area of sexual harassment and bullying as nominated by the Applicants". I understand that her claim is for $2,000,000 for herself. I say good on her.

Publicity is a double edged sword. While she is creating bad publicity for DJs, she is also creating bad publicity for herself.

There's already case law for sexual harassment cases.
