Hi Guys
Finally arrived in Barbados after a two day flight....what next?
Would like to get involved in expat social groups etc.
Any suggestions?

Hi,

Did you try the Hash? We are also new to the island and will try Hashing this Saturday.

Apart from that I also have found it hard to meet people outside of work. We joined a scuba diving club which can be a nice way of meeting different people and the drinks after can be a good laugh.

If you go to crystal waters beach bar, Worthing on a Sunday afternoon you will meet loads of people at the Sunday BBQ, for dancing, food and of course a wee drink or two.
You will meet people on holiday and those who live there. Once been you will never look back

Hi

Hashing... commonly known as a drinking club with a running problem!

We are a group of people, various ages, various abilities who get together on a Saturday afternoon to run,walk, shuffle around a trail laid by one or two of our group. Then we socialise.....simple really

We normally number about 80 or so, both expat and Bajan. Some old age pensioners, some youngsters.. most in-between.
