Here, What to do to meet people
 

Hi Guys
Finally arrived in Barbados after a two day flight....what next?:unsure:
Would like to get involved in expat social groups etc.
Any suggestions?

Hi,

Did you try the Hash? We are also new to the island and will try Hashing this Saturday.

Apart from that I also have found it hard to meet people outside of work. We joined a scuba diving club which can be a nice way of meeting different people and the drinks after can be a good laugh.

Yep, been hashing and gradually finding my way and meeting a few people, maybe we'll meet somewhere, even at the Hash!:):)

hey chiltern and phal i have been in Barbados for less than week now!!! i would love to meet some friends too!! cause i would love to get out and see what this island has to offer!

I've been on the island for 18 months now but many friends have recently left the island. If you fancy meeting up for a drink at some point then drop me a message.

If you go to crystal waters beach bar, Worthing on a Sunday afternoon you will meet loads of people at the Sunday BBQ, for dancing, food and of course a wee drink or two.
You will meet people on holiday and those who live there. Once been you will never look back

Hi

Hashing... commonly known as a drinking club with a running problem!

We are a group of people, various ages, various abilities who get together on a Saturday afternoon to run,walk, shuffle around a trail laid by one or two of our group. Then we socialise.....simple really :)

We normally number about 80 or so, both expat and Bajan. Some old age pensioners, some youngsters.. most in-between.

I can tell you we have a lot of fun... so look forward to seeing you there..
