Default Electrical devices in Barbados

My job is taking me to Barbados at the end of the year, probably for several years. Though British, I'm moving there from the US. Will my US-bought electrical stuff (TV, DVD, stereo and so on) work immediately in Barbados, will I need adaptors/transformers, or will I have to buy a lot of new gear?

Thanks a mill for any advice.
