The price I paid did include packing and loading and they did a terrific job - I would just let them pack everything don't even try to pack things yourself they bring all the boxes, brown paper, tape, bubble wrap and anything else they need. The container was transported to Folkestone I think it took just over a week. My advise to you would be any wooden furniture other than pine may not like the tropics. My english ok rocking chair seat fell apart in the humidity. My container came to Barbados in January so out of cold to dryest part of the year in the tropics did take its toll.

Hi everyone, I am moving to Barbados on 31 Aug, I am so excited, however, I need some information, I am sending over a 10 ft container with household good from England, which includes sofa, 2 beds etc, can anyone give an indication of the damage to my purse and the procedure in terms in clearing the goods from port and does anyone know of any reasonable firms to deliver container to my home.
