I have been in Australia since 1979 - emmigrated from Scotland when I was 21. Reading some of the posts brings back memories of how difficult it is to settle into a new way of life. I am married to an Australian with 3 children and I want to help new families develop friendships which will help with a smooth transition to Aussie life. I am a member of a bookclub, a public speaking group, love cycling and ferrying my teenage children here, there and everywhere.
