Yippee- we finally have a citizenship ceremony date
I can hardly believe it- our letters appeared today 'inviting' us for a ceremony on 17th May...if we don't attend we have to provide letter from our mothers excusing us or death certificates to confirm we are not alive!
Oh well it has only taken 7 months- good job we were not in a hurry.
To add insult to injury, we are not going to the Williamstown Town Hall, instead we are going to Hobson's Bay Council Civic Centre....Still very exciting that we will finally be Aussies.

Enjoy your day, I'm sure its well worth the wait.
We have ours on Monday, I'm still trying to find waterproof mascara that will cope with the inevitable blubbering
