Default x-ray's done on disc.

Nowhere near time for us to have medicals etc but have been informed that x-rays done here on the sunny Isle of Wight are put onto disc's (mum works in said department). She said that a few people have been back to ask for the film as the disc's are not allowed? Unfortunately they no longer use the old film version.
Does this mean that we will need to have x-rays done on the mainland now, and also is this info correct.
Thanks

I read a thread a while back, DIMA don't accept them. Try doing a search for the thread as it was informative and had a positive outcome
