Work Licenses In Oz????
WORK LICENSES IN OZ???
Hi,
Had my skills assessed by TRA and passed, but really need to know -if lucky enough to get the visa's how do you go about getting a license to work once you get to Oz?
Haven't got any certificate's just 20 odd years in the motor trade. Firstly being employed by someone (from leaving school) then working for myself since.
To get a license would I have to go to college? If so for how long? Or is there somewhere (i.e Licensing Board) that I have to go to to get my skills assessed once again to enable me to able to work over there?
Also I understand that I need a licence if I were to set up my own business but do I also need a license if I'm employed by someone/company?
What did all you folk over there already, that like me haven't got any certificates do to enable you to work?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

My boyfriend applied for his ABN number online last Friday, real simple process, it came in the post today
