Default Work Available For UK Carpenters In Victoria (Or Heading There Soon)

The builder I work for is keen to recruit 4 UK qualified carpenters (2 gangs of 2) for projects in the bayside/southeast suburbs area of Melbourne. The work will be on a subcontract/pricework basis and there is plenty of it in the pipeline. Please feel free to email me if interested.

Hi Jo,

I cant believe it either, but saying that we chippie lot are in demand down here, maybe there aren't any left looking for work.

Good luck with the plumbing

4 Chippies still required Bayside and SE suburbs of Melbourne.

Hi Jake,

There are lots of opportunities out here for chippies and most of the builds here are timber framed so you should pick it up pretty easily. If you want to build your own house to live in you can do this by becoming licensed as an owner builder which I believe is quite simple, you can be a subbie without a license but to build houses for a living you need to obtain a builder's license which means going to college and being assessed by the Registered Builders Practitioners Board.

Builder not taking on carpenters now, subbies already in place.
