Work for accountants ....
Hi
I am a charted accountant heading to OZ, i heard that most of the jobs required for accountants in OZ are for lower level accountants rather than jobs such as Controllers or Finance managers ,Is it true?
Can some one also recommend which city is the best to find a good job in this profession?

Hi, although I can't give you first hand knowledge I am CIMA and heading for Brisbane in the next few months (hopefully).
My advise would be to do some research on the net, there certainly seems to be quite a variety in the Brisbane area and this is probably true of most major cities.
I get a daily e-mail from seek.com.au which gives details of jobs for my experience - most days I tend to get details of 3 or 4 jobs which sound promising.
Also a lot of the major accountancy recruitment agencies have branches in OZ such as Michael Page and Reed.
