Massive hangover ordered for the morning!!!!!

went to Australia on holiday inMay 2000 and thats when it all started.

25/9/00 started gathering information for trades recognition.
20/11/00 Application for trades recognition sent to Australia
8/12/00 Positive skills assesment from TRA Australia and started gatherijg information for application
1/2/01 application sent to AHC London
9/3/01 letter acknowledging receipt of application from AHC
19/4/02 Request from AHC for new police checks ( health checks and police checks sent with the application )
20/5/02 police checks sent to AHC
31/5/02 Visa granted ENGAGE SMUG MODE

we applied as independant skilled with a trade not IT or a nurse. our destination is queensland somewhere around Townsville

Well done Les you must be over the moon, thanks for the time line it was really useful as we are 27.3.01 however we haven't front loaded but are ready to send off our medicals and police checks now. We also are going to Queensland so keep in touch it is always a shame to see regulars disappear off this site when they get their visas although I appreciate it then takes on a different meaning and there is so much to organise-Good luck.
