I know its a bit sad working on holiday but it really does ease the financial burden and stress of returning home knowing that I can at least have a small income coming in. Thanks again.

Worked a treat and didn't have to worry about the cost. If you or anyone else is interested I'm selling my PCMCIA card for $250 and hopfully all you'll need to do is sign up with Vodaphone and get a sim card for it. Check with them 1st that you can use a 2nd hand card just in case they want to fleece you to make you buy a brand new card.
Double bought on ebay!
Most of the Adelaide CBD has free wireless access.

Our accommodation has internet access on site but I dont think its practical or fair to be sat at the internet kiosk for 2-3 hours on end. So does anyone have any ideas if you have been in a similar situation? I was thinking along the lines of the 3G cards that you can plug into a laptop, but really do need fairly fast access speed. Even if it means I have to take out a 12 month contract it would still be worth my while. If anyone has done this kind of thing before or has any suggestions/experience it really would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I used Azure wireless last November (on our reccie trip) and found the Starbucks in Darling Harbour to be a very pleasant place to sit whilst tapping about on the keyboard.
I think that it was $40 for 5 hours connection time (on a per second basis I think?) and TBH that lasted me for 3 weeks of frequent internet usage. Don't use Telstra though as they were taking the piss with the price and conditions for their wireless broadband connection.
All I initially did was browse for the Azure network, connect, type in my credit card details and away you go.
You might also want to take a look at http://www.free-hotspot.com/ as it is all dependent on where you are staying?
