Now check this out - PS3 comes under some criticism for its expensive PS3 console with limited games titles:

Each have their fans!
Wii isn't even on the same field - considered to be a 'kids' game console! But hey ....we are all kids on this inside aren't we..??
Realistically the PS3 and Xbos 360 have about the same 'brains' - and can do about the same stuff.
each have pros and cons
PS3 has been criticised widely for being expensive (more than double the price of a Wii and 50-60% more than an xbox 360). Also criticised for having a limited amount of games at the current time!!
Xbox really has the lead on the market - great system, online play so you can play against others anywhere in the world, afffordable (I bought mine for £140 brand new and have spend less than £100 more to get 6-7 great games and accessories - just shop around). Plus Xbox 360 has a HUUUGE selection of games at the moment!
IN 3-5 years when a lot more PS3 games come out and the price of the PS3 unit goes down they might win back their reputation! But for the time being sales figures speak louder than anything!! There are stories that Sony os losing so much money on the PS3 because people simply aren't buying them that the whole gaming arm of Sony might fail!!
(they lose money on selling the consoles in the hope to make it back in the long run on games etc)

I bought my xbox whilst living in the UK and it is currently in a shipping container halfway between England and Sydney (I hope)!
I haven't yet hooked mine up to play online but it appears that the good majority of xbox users have done so (all my friends included). It appears that I am mad for not playing online and many consider that it is the best feature of the system!!
For example...want to play a war game....get a heap of your friends together (they can be from anywhere in the world) and you can form a platoon and off you go to defeat the nazi's!!!
You can race a car against anyone in the world instead of just against the console - so adds a bit more reality to it!
I haven't owned a game console since my Amiga 500 when I was 13 - the xbox is awesome!!

Not as funny as the first but still ok.
Looks like Xbox rules!

Otherwise the lag can be a bit of a killer.
