No I expect there will be a problem with the language translation!:D
Our PS2 works with both Aus and UK games. They're not based on the PAL thingy you get in DVDs. Seriously, there is bigger stuff to get your head around. Sometimes though, it's easier to worry about the smaller stuff. We've all been there:) |
Re: Wii in Oz
Yes, I can confirm that it does work (we bought ours with us), you just need the adaptor so you can plug it in. We have also brought an extra controller which works fine, don't know about games but we have purchased some play station 2 games which work perfectly on our playstation 2 which we brought with us.

Re: Wii in Oz
The Wii is supposedly region locked so you may have problems playing 1 or more Australian games on it. The PS2 is also region locked though and when I had one I never had a problem playing any Australian games on it.

The Adults may have the serious stuff to worry about, but this was the first question my 8 year old asked me when we told him we were planning to go!
my son has been doing some research and he reckons only top brand games might work as stated on the nintendo - nintendo however won't guarantee anything |

Re: Wii in Oz
Calm down people, calm down!
Most of the games consoles are sold in region (similar to DVD's etc) Fortunately, Australia and Britain both operate PAL systems and so your Nintendo, Xbox 360 etc will work exactly the same in australia as it does here. Games consoles made for the American market (which operate on a different format) will not work in Australia! Problem solved...... |
