Though I was reluctant to come, and am not sure we'll stay permanently, I dont regret the decision to come at all, its been a positive experience for us all, and if we do return to the uk then I think my daughter will have benefitted from living elsewhere too.
As for better or worse thats the impossible question, I like and dislike a lot of things about both places, and could live in either, the crunch for me is people, and despite making some wonderful friends here I'm not sure its worth being away from my family and friends I've known a lifetime.

what about all the older Sheilas who have massive feet and ankles...I don't see them teetering around in the shoes they had in their 20s/30s...
