Yeh, but be fair, it's hardly getting warm by the time it's finished.

Who the hell thought it was a good idea to leave that tree growing there?

It's probably quite nice when it's in bloom ... it would be a bit bland(er) otherwise ...

Surely not owning a ride on is unaustralian. Maintaining our position as the worlds No 1 polluter per capita is not going to be easy to keep up.

Perhaps I need to ease back on the revs a little and try riding at less than 8,000rpm all the time? (No chance - its just waaaay too much fun )
Mine too but it is an older bike (97 - an old "P" reg) and I use it a lot about town so it's unlikely to be quite as fuel-efficient

If its anything like my garden thats only 2 weeks worth of growth. Go on holiday and let the weeds grow and before you know it you need ropes, chainsaws and hardhats just to mow the f*&king lawn.

billingham is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Re: Who says Australia is expensive!

Sue needs a hearing aid, as she is now working in a job where full hearing is a necessity. The Oticon pro model was recommended and we were quoted just over $3000. Price in the UK, with fitting / testing / warranty etc - $1000. Trouble is, you would have to go to the UK to have this done.

Now if you have to pay a little bit more for your Porsche / Plasma / IPad - well, too bad. But a 200% mark-up on a hearing aid - that is actually quite disgusting.

if you are prepared to gamble with your life, Air China currently has flights to the UK for about 1700. That would mean you would still have at least 300 to spare!
