Who is Mike Stanton?
Meant to ask this a couple of times now but have kept forgetting...
who is Mike stanton? Seen his name banded about a few times, mostly people knocking him - did he annoy people?

Went to Sydney, wasn't happy, didn't like it, didn't succeed or whatever, now blames the country and its alleged backwardness in business matters for this and despite being back where he wants to be he takes any opportunity to come on here to remind everyone.
He went to the 2 best universities in the world, he is a great advocate of businesses outsourcing work or doing anything to make more profit and his real name isn't MS. He could also appear on the forum under a different name (I remember a dugongs who had similar views although dugongs brought and Aussie wife back to 'civilisation' and used to tell her how lucky she was, so mightn't be the same). I must admit that I enjoy exchanging views with him but he hasn't posted much of late - I don't think. I think he also 'won' the most predictable poster award for 2004.

He returned to the UK last year and always stands his ground well.

He's someone who uses the notation *sic* to try and make himself appear more intelligent in his posts but he does not use the notation correctly. Also he puts spaces before his colons.
He also has a big chip on his shoulder because he did not make it in Australia; therefore it's Australia's fault.

If you do a search on his name you can read some of his posts. Apparently he did do well in Australia but eventually just preferred what Europe had to offer. Whenever he posts it turns into a lively debate so always worth a read.
