We're after some advise of suburbs to rent a house, usual family type considerations required.

Also, what is the social scene like, we will not know a single person when we get there and are kean to get out and meet new people.

Thanks,

Hi Terry Nat and Amy

Try Hilarys, its about 25km from Perth CBD, we are going to live there, it is a great place with a great marina, and i have heard good schools etc. You have picked the right city in the whole world, it is simply fantatsic and i wish you all well.

Yeah, Perth looks great to me. I saw it again on GMTV this morning. I have to get out there and get me some of that outdoor life.
Anyone know, is there much factory management work?

cheers Kev,

Funny how the confidence in our decision starts to grow by getting some feed back from others.

Now theres an idea....

But back to the subject........... heaps of work as a sparky, and very generally speaking if you like the North of River the west of the Freeway is good, but also a suburb or 2 east of the freeway is good too. Should be able to find a decent rental from $200pw upwards. South of River there are plenty of nice suburbs but personally I wouldnt want to go too far south of the city.

Hi all
what are your opinions on Yanchep ? I know it is about an hour from city and it is an upcoming area as the freeway is linking etc. I would personally like to live in the hills areas (want some acreage for horses) but OH wants to be near the beach so I am trying to find the happy medium but not at insane prices ... any ideas pleeeeaaasee

Thanks from a frustrated Sel x
