Where to live- Help!!!
Am applying for skilled independent visa and am still unsure as to where to live. Just wondered if people would tell me where they live or intend to live and why really to get an overview of everywhere. Am aware what i may like is different to everyone else but am really interested for some rough ideas. we are a family with 2 young boys and husband is a carpenter. Look forward to any posts- Thankyou all!!!!!! Yvonne

Re: Where to live- Help!!!
Hi, we're in Melbourne on the Mornington Peninsula. It's got beaches, countryside and isn't too far from the city and high country (snow in winter) so it suits us. We also like it as you get a decent summer but a change of seasons.
We have a primary school aged son so we picked an area that is family friendly and has good schools. I would recommend South Frankston, Mount Eliza and Mount Martha to start with.
It all really depends on your budget and what you want from an area. Have you checked out www.realestate.com.au for house prices?
Good luck
