As for the rest, its a tourism ad, pics of lovely beaches are expected, but I was quite impressed with all the other bits they added to it, definitely doesn't show Australia as only being a country of beaches IMO.

In defense of the campaign they explained how they discarded focusing on intellectual things like what australia invented for the ads. Then were quoting examples like how Australia gave the world penicillin. :confused:

Thankfully we spent $6 million bucks of taxpayer money :rolleyes: it might have been a bit embarrasing for a country to be claiming an invention made in 1928 by a pom called alexandra flemming who had never set foot in australia :D
